Benjamin Moore Cloud White OC 130 and 967

People who use this color remember the code 967, and it’s been considered number one for a long time by those who use it frequently. This paint gives a creamy look and works really well in places where you don’t prefer too much whiteness. Due to its creamy color, it looks better compared to pure white. It’s great for traditional kitchens but not as suitable for modern kitchens that look better with a cleaner white.

Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace OC 65

I love this color for cabinetry in any style of kitchen. This is often seen as the purest white paint with hardly any hint of undertones. I really like using it for my cabinets in the kitchen. It blends well with both cool and warm color schemes. Even though it looks completely white, it doesn’t feel too cold or stark. It manages to stay warm and inviting. It’s just a great choice all around.

Benjamin Moore Paper White OC 54

This paint has a touch of blue undertones, sometimes hinting at gray-blue. However, it still feels cozy and welcoming. In kitchens with little natural light, it might look more grayish than white, so it’s important to have ample natural light to bring out its true color. One of the best ways to use it is on cabinets alongside a brighter, cleaner white for the trim. This contrast really highlights its unique dye. This color for cabinets will look very classy in the kitchen, whether you pair it with white or black accessories.

Sherwin Williams White Paint for Cabinets

choosing white paint might seem simple, but there is a lot to consider to find the perfect shade for your home. In this article, I’ll share the specific Sherwin-Williams white paint we chose for our kitchen cabinets.

I’ll also mention other colors we looked at and popular options for white kitchen cabinets. I believe these are the best white paint colors from Sherwin Williams.

There are many factors to consider when choosing white paint, like dimension, reflection, warmth, and coolness. I’ll specifically cover Sherwin Williams’ white paint colors. here I will highlight some shades of Sherwin-Williams white paint.

Snowbound by Sherwin Williams( SW 7004)

Let me tell you about the color we picked for our home and specially for kitchen cabinets: Snowbound by Sherwin Williams. I’m so happy with the results! It’s not too stark or too warm, and the neutral undertones are a big plus. I wanted a white that wasn’t too warm or too cool, and Snowbound fits perfectly with our natural surroundings.

Snowbound is a versatile white that keeps things soft but also looks crisp and clean. You can apply it in many areas besides kitchen cabinets, living room, bedroom, trim, ceilings, and even the exterior of your home. In my opinion, it’s the perfect white paint for kitchen cabinets.

Sherwin Williams Pure White ( SW 7005)

I have used Pure White for years to paint ceilings and walls and ceiling. I have also used it many times for kitchen cabinets. I love this color because it has no distracting undertones like other whites. Your cabinets look truly white, not pink, yellow, gold, or another shade.

Pure White has a high light reflective value (LRV) of 84 out of 100, so it reflects a lot of light compared to other whites. Using it on kitchen cabinets in a bright room will make the space look brighter and feel warmer. For even more shine, paint your cabinets with a semi-gloss or gloss finish.

Sherwin Williams Shoji White (SW 7042)

I recently painted my outdoor kitchen’s DIY cabinet doors with SW Shoji White to match my home’s exterior. This warm off-white can show tan or gray undertones based on your lighting.

In very bright light, Shoji White can look like a bright white if there’s no true white to compare it to. I refer to it as “deceptively” bright because its light reflective value (LRV) is just 74, whereas a true white boasts an LRV of 100.

Sherwin Williams Alabaster( SW 7008)

SW Alabaster, with an LRV of 82, is a bit brighter than Shoji White and offers a perfect blend of warmth and cleanliness with its soft tones. It’s obvious from online searches that this white is a popular choice for walls and cabinets.

Despite its yellow undertones, which add warmth, it results in a beautiful, creamy, and balanced white.

In kitchens designed by Studio McGee with lots of natural light, this color looks bright and inviting. But in a darker space, it might seem a bit more saturated and warm.

Sherwin Williams White Duck

I was unsure about including this paint color for white kitchen cabinets because it’s very creamy. But I added it because it can look stunning in interiors when used properly.

It can work well for interior walls, especially if paired with bright white cabinets. The bright white would make this color look even creamier. The LRV of SW White Duck is 74. So even though it’s white, it’s a very creamy and warm white. This color is also great for exteriors, especially if it gets a lot of direct sunlight. When used right, it can give a stunning look to your kitchen cabinets.

Sherwin Williams Beige ( SW 7036)

Beige is not completely white, but if you use this color in your kitchen in the future, it will give a fresh, new beige-white look. Combining beige-white cabinets with a white backsplash will create a very refreshing look. Additionally, this color looks very attractive when contrasted with white walls and subway tiles.

It’s a good idea to buy samples of these colors and test them in your kitchen. The natural lighting in your space can really affect how the colors look, especially whites.
